This lei is secured with 14kt and 18kt gold filled findings that allow the fresh portion to be detached once expired in order to become a beautiful necklace or forever lei for you to wear on its own. Hybrid fresh and forever lei
For lei storage before gifting we recommend misting the fresh portion with water while keeping the forever portion dry, then storing your lei in a refrigerated space on a shelf as far from the cooling element as possible. The lowest shelf or produce drawer in a home refrigerator is usually the best option. Mini or hotel refrigerators are not recommended as the cooling element is too close to all shelves in the refrigerator and will cause the flowers in your lei to develop an ice burn.
Please remember not to scatter any type of lei in the ocean as the string/ribbon on the lei poses a danger to our local sea life.
